Success!

January 13, 2009

I came up with the idea of liveblogging the Golden Globes last night just before they started airing because I had some people on Twitter getting annoyed, I have near to 400 followers and most are from the US and well its time delayed in some areas specifically the West Coast so I was talking about the ceremony and they were like “please stop that we want to watch them!”.

Anyway choice was made to host the live blog here and guess what the 280 odd views I got from last night alone proved a success if you ask me!, its making me think of doing the Oscars as well but it may not be here though, I have had interest from a member on twitter for some kind of trans-atlantic live blog!

p.s thanks for following my candid comments on the awards :)

Bauer Power Hour

January 13, 2009

24 Season 7

It was awesome to see 24 return for the first time in 2 years (if you don’t count redemption). When I saw the previews over the last few months I thought it was going to be a bit stupid and a bit predictable but already I can see how awesome its going to be. To quickly run down what we saw last night…

  • Tony is back!, yeah he is no more dead and he was never that way anyway. He bribed the EMT’s or it was all planned from the outset that his death at CTU was going to be just a farce. He is now part of a group trying to disrupt the national infrastructure of the country. End of the first 2 episodes we saw Jack corner Tony and faught him in an epic fight!
  • Jack is involved in the Senate hearing about the torture he gave a prisoner from a few years back and he was allowed to leave when the FBI got a subpoena to take him in to help fight Tony. He seems his ass kicking self again tho which is really cool.
  • Wheres Chloe!!!, she’s one of the only reasons (other then Kim Bauer) to watch 24!

Tonight tho I feel is going to be 2 pure power hours!
